Yesterday I was at the church from 9am to 1am. For those of you bad with time or math, that would be a 16 hour work day. It was one of those days that was so long I couldn't remember if the things I had done that morning had actually happened then or on a different day.
The reason for these arduous hours: we are setting up the stage for the North Atlanta Christmas Festival, the giant Christmas show that spans three nights. If I knew anyone in the Atlanta area I would invite them to come either this Friday, Saturday, or Sunday night at 7:00, but no one reading this is even remotely close to the area, so it would be pointless.
In random news:
Today as I was coming back from lunch at my apartment a car pulled up next to me and the gentleman in the car motioned for me to roll down my window. The conversation that ensued went a little something like this:
Gentleman: Hey, are you from Oklahoma?
Me: Yeah.
Gentleman: I saw you licenses plate. Where in Oklahoma? I'm from there too.
Me: Tulsa. Where are you from?
Gentleman: Hey, I lived up in north Tulsa! Moved here 12 years ago.
Me: Really!
Gentleman: Yeah, I went to Booker T. Washington.
Me: Really, that's where I went to high school!
Gentleman: Where do you live?
Me: Down at Jefferson.
Gentleman: Me too! I'll have to hook up with you!
And then he had to go because the guy behind him started to honk.
So that is incredible. That or this guy has done some amazing research on my life and is going to perform an elaborate con on me. I'm kind of hoping that this is the case because that would mean I was important enough to con. This guy, if he is a con man, is going to be pretty disappointed to discover that really the only thing I have is a lot of debt.

I am pretty sure we are the most frequent commenters on each other's blogs, what does that say about us?
And, I think you are right about my definition of art. It was just weird because I said that definition without really thinking and then I thought about it for about an hour afterwards.
